From 'Meditations', Marcus Aurelius said:
If you seek tranquillity, do less. Most of what we do and say is not essential. Ask yourself at every moment, '๐ถ๐ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐?'
He understood that most of us fill our days with non-essential tasks. โฑ๏ธ
Each day, ask yourself: "Is this necessary?" You'll find the answer is often no.
By eliminating the non-essential:
โข Your decisions will improve
โข Your stress will decrease
โข Your focus will deepen on what truly matters
We don't need more productivity hacksโwe need the courage to do less.
What ONE non-essential activity could you eliminate today to find more tranquility?
